How do I record my lectures?

How can I see the availability of a classroom or all classrooms?
  •  The page for each classroom includes a link to the individual calendar. 
  • A calendar view of all classrooms may be accessed at the link bit.ly/GAclassroomcalendar.

Is it possible to bring in a different lectern? I don’t like the one in there!

At this time, no, it is not possible to provide a different lectern; our campus has limited storage. Due to space limitations, not every classroom is equipped with a lectern.


Are keys for classrooms provided?

Keys for classrooms are not provided. Classrooms are unlocked based on the academic schedule M-F and based on the reservation schedule for events on the weekend and evenings. For more information see https://classrooms.ucsc.edu/gethelp/


I’m an instructor / TA leading a class and I’d like to explore other classroom options. How do I request a change in location?
  • Your department manager and/or curriculum scheduling administrator manage the scheduling for your unit. Please get in touch with them to talk about options.

How do I reserve a classroom for an ad hoc (non-class) event?
